Our house is in full swing of projects!
Project #1: Jamie is finishing the bonus room, aka "the man cave". We are trying to finish this space in the next couple weeks. He's been working hard and can't wait until he can have a space to call his own! (Also, may I add ... that his deer heads, ducks & mounted turkey are all now housed in Kennedy's nursery at the moment).
Project #2: Our guest bedroom is almost complete. We finally have a queen bed, two dressers, and side table. Curtains and pictures are waiting to be hung. I can't wait to have this space finished for guests to feel welcome in our home!
Project #3: The nursery!! This is a work in progress. We've been crib hunting recently. Also, bedding has been difficult to decide on. I haven't been able to find the "right" bedding. So, my back up plan is to have bedding made. I've found some great ideas on pinterest.com and have fallen in love with some paisley fabrics I've come across. Check out the following ideas I've got for the nursery.
The crib I've been eyeing:
Here are a few color pallets for the nursery. I'm thinking of using a combination of paisley prints, polka dots and/or stripes.
Here is a second pallet option (or something similar):
I've fallen in love with a monogram like this for above her crib. This comes in a variety of colors, too!
The fun is just beginning! There are so many decisions to be made. We can't wait to create an atmosphere that will be perfect for Kennedy!

Love the paisley and the turquoise polka dots together! (and of course she's got to have that fabulous monogram somewhere on the wall!)
